Health and Safety
*We offer nutritious breakfast, lunch and afternoon snack for children, that follow guidelines put forth by the USDA food program. We adapt meals for children with allergies and/or nutritional needs.
*Our facility is cleaned and sanitized daily. Teachers clean and sanitize toys in the classroom on a regular basis. We have a clean air filtration system put in place to rotate clean air throughout the building.
*Our secured and locked facility provides safety for all of our children and staff. All of our doors are locked from the outside and the front door requires a code to access the building. We also have security cameras in each of our classrooms and at the front of the building. There are two cameras in each classroom. We have two monitors in our front lobby that families are able to watch and observe. Our teachers make accountability and safety of children their number one priority. Anyone attempting to pick up a child from our facility will need to have ID and already be listed in writing on the child's authorized pick up forms.
*There are emergency telephones in each classroom. Teachers are able to call the front office, 911 and the front reception area at any time.
*All of our Early Childhood Teachers are CPR, First Aid and Universal Precaution trained. There are also several people in the facility that are medication trained. We have a nurse consultation program that visits our facility monthly and updates our staff on illnesses, developmental milestones and other medical issues.
*We offer a toothbrushing program for all of our children ages 2 and up. This program teaches children the importance of brushing on a regular basis and begins to prepare children for a lifetime of good oral hygiene habits.
*Our facility is licensed by the State of Colorado and complies with all regulations put forth by the Colorado Department of Human Services and the Weld County Health Department.
